2011 Week 1 Useful Fantasy Football Articles

Here are some useful articles to check out while you are deciding who to start during Week 1 of the 2011 fantasy football season:
  • Week 1 Rankings (Rotoworld) - Don't know if I agree with Chris Johnson at #1 at RB coming off the holdout but he does have a nice matchup; I am very interested in seeing how things will shape up at WR this year.
  • Week 1's Injury Questions (Rotoworld) - Watch out Arian Foster and Colt offensive player owners.  Foster's hammy looks like it'll limit him and there are two other variables that aren't getting much air time: Ben Tate (who might have been in the picture last year if he hadn't gotten hurt) and Gary Kubiak's unpredictability (those who owned Foster previously will remember him being benched to start a game).
  • Week 1 Player Downgrades (FF Toolbox) - Most of these seem fairly obvious, but being that it's the beginning of the season, there's not much to go on at this point and at least this will serve as a good reminder to those who don't follow football goings on closely.
  • Fantasy Football Sleepers, Week 1 (KFFL) - I usually like this feature; don't take it as gospel but keep some of the points discussed in mind.  I like the Devone Bess (WR, Miami) vs. NE pick especially.
  • Week 1 Stat Projections (FF Sharks) - These always seem to suffer from inflation.  Instead of focusing on the points projected, examine the rankings of the players and the accompanying comments.
