Risky Fantasy Football Starters: Week 8, 2010

Here are the riskiest major starters for fantasy football week 8, 2010:
  • Drew Brees, QB, NO - Brees plays the Steelers at home.  He has had a 4-INT game and the Saints were stymied by the Browns.  Brees is still a stud and you probably don't have anyone else to start over him anyway, but just remember his stats might be pedestrian and that other parts of your lineup may have to make up for this.
  • DeAngelo Williams, RB, CAR - DeAngelo has been missing practice because of a foot sprain.  He could end up a game-time decision or even disappear from the game if he does start if he aggravates the foot.
  • Randy Moss, WR, MIN - Moss will be visiting his old haunts at New England, but may be doing so without Brett Favre.  If Favre doesn't go, Tavaris Jackson will get the nod, which should hurt Moss' game; if Favre starts, he may be a limited passer.
