Bye Bye Birdie -- What is Donovan McNabb's 2010 Fantasy Football Value?

The Philadelphia Eagles are actively trying to move their long-time star quarterback Donovan McNabb. While interest is muted, several NFL clubs are rumored to be interested, including the Raiders and Bills. The Vikings are in the picture, too, but will pursue McNabb only if Brett Favre retires, which I doubt will happen, especially early enough for the Vikes to make a move.

McNabb seems uninterested in the Bills, but the Raiders have a shot at landing him. Oakland wouldn't be as bad a destination for McNabb as it at first seems. The Raiders have a few tools that McNabb could work with, including RBs Michael Bush and Darren McFadden, TE Zach Miller, and a few WRs that have flashed some potential , Louis Murphy, Chaz Schilens, and Johnny Lee Higgins.

If McNabb does end up in Oakland, he will definitely lose fantasy value; you won't want to take him where you normally would in the draft. However, he could be a late round sleeper for those who like to take two QBs and rotate by matchup. As Raider QB, McNabb also could be a solid backup or even serve as trade bait.
